Lately rap songs have reached an all time low. We have songs with really stupid lyrics and just seem to repeat it almost as if the song took 2 minutes to write. No tune at all. This has mostly been occurring in 2007.
If you still don’t know what I’m talking about then have you heard these songs?
Theres a song that goes. “This is why I’m hot, this is why I’m fly”.
“Crank that souja-boy”
“Pop-lock and drop it”
“Hey bay bay”
“Party like a rockstar”
“lean with it,rock with it”
And amazingly these songs seem to chart very high, when other songs with more effort and don’t repeat themselves with the dumbest lyrics don’t chart as high as these jokes.
Thse lyrics are just sellouts, I always change the channel when these songs come up. Anyone care to explain? Is this the new trend? Do you agree with me?
